1st – Capability. Helivate Films pilots have spent hundreds of hours flying and have trained specifically for cinematic filming. They also have a technical ability for when issues arise, and understand the risks involved so that safety is never a question. And as an added bonus Zac (Owner/Pilot) is fluent in Spanish for projects in latin countries.
2nd – Cinematic/Artistic creativity. We believe there is more than just being able to fly a camera in the sky and having the highest quality equipment, the pilot in collaboration with the camera operator must be able to see the “shot” in advance and even more be able to see the shots that have yet to be seen. It is a necessity that both the camera operator and the pilot have advanced experience and understanding of the basics of cinematography. At Helivate Films all employees have worked in the film industry for years and are continuing to expand their knowledge and not settle for what they already know.
3rd – Personality, We believe that personality is a much more important aspect of aerial cinematography than is lead to believe. Shoots are often long and stressful situation so we believe that hiring and working with an aerial cinematographer shouldn’t add to the stress but should be simple and leave the client with the confidence that they are going to get the highest quality product in the end with the least amount of stress and work from them.get a quote
